![]() In a joint effort from the King-Chavez Technology Department and all King-Chavez Schools, iPads and Chromebooks were prepared to be distributed to our students as our schools prepare for a soft-launch of our Distance Learning program. They are friends KCNS Student Device Distribution They are not only amazing educators– they are leaders, innovators, counselors, role models, and cheerleaders to students and peers. King-Chavez Neighborhood of Schools is proud to recognize the 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year and Support Staff of the Year from each school site! The news was shared on October 29 during a press conference held by District 4 Supervisor Nathan Fletcher, San Diego County Office of Education, and the San Diego Foundation. ![]() We are excited to share that our site visit with the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) went extremely well, and our KCNS Teacher Induction Program received accreditation for another 7 years! The KCNS Teacher Induction Program serves all teachers with Preliminary California Teaching Credentials, teachers with existing Clear California Credentials, and out-of-state teachers who Technology Grant Awarded to King-Chavez Neighborhood of Schools KCNS Teacher Induction Program Receives Accreditation
